The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is slightly better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, getting a 62.5 score against 62.3. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has an older 3.1 version and Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a much powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has an extra graphics processing unit, a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a superior battery life than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 4060mAh.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a much more mega pixels camera.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is also cheap compared to the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, making this tablet an easy choice.
