The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a little bit better than the Google Nexus 7, having a 62.5 score against 59.3. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has the older 3.1 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE design is somewhat thinner but way heavier than Google Nexus 7.
The Google Nexus 7 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a greater display density. Google Nexus 7 counts with a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Google Nexus 7 also has more CPU cores and an extra graphics co-processor.
Google Nexus 7 has as much memory to install games and applications as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE one, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 57 percent larger battery size. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE captures much clearer photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7.
Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Nexus 7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7, resigning some specifications.
