Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0, having a 62.5 score against 58.6. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has the older 3.1 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a notably heavier but thinner tablet device than the LG G Pad 8.0.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch of display. LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an additional GPU and a larger number of faster cores.

LG G Pad 8.0 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video quality and a back-facing camera with a way better 5 mega pixels resolution. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a bit bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has just 16 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a much better battery duration than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go some specifications.
