Galaxy Note 8.0 is better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, having a global score of 69.2 against 62.5. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Note 8.0 is a a little bit thinner and a lot lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a way better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has 2 more processing cores, a greater amount of RAM and an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a screen that is very similar to the screen in Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a way smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, it also counts with a better display pixel density.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 captures greater videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a way more mega-pixels back camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has just 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 48% greater battery capacity.

Galaxy Note 8.0 is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
