Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an overall score of 64.8, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 score. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the newer 4.0.4 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1 version, counting with some additional features and optimized performance. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a lighter and a bit thinner device than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a greater display density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 32 GB and more internal storage.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an additional graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity against 5100mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a camera that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE one, both have the same video frame rate, a 3 mega-pixels camera in the back and the same video resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, letting go a couple specs and features.
