Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is slightly better than Galaxy Tab, with a 62.5 score against 58.6. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE construction is incredibly heavier but notably thinner than the Galaxy Tab. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has the newer 3.1 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, so it gives a couple nice extra features.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab, because although it has a quite inferior number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a higher resolution of 800 x 1280 and a way larger display.

Samsung Galaxy Tab's memory capacity for apps and games is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's one, both of them have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a 6800mAh battery size. Galaxy Tab shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same 720x480 video definition.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Tab, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
