Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S8 has newer 13 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1 version, so it provides some nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab S8 is a somewhat lighter and thinner tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a quite smaller screen, way less pixels per inch of screen and a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a lot better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab S8 captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a way better (4K) video quality and a way higher resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
