Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a global score of 62.5 against 57.6. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has the previous 3.1 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Although it's the best in this review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's construction is a little bit thicker and heavier than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the display and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a faster processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a greater amount of RAM and more CPU cores.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has just 16 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features greater battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot better (Full HD) video resolution and a much more MP back-facing camera.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is also the cheapest.
