Comparison review
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has an overall score of 62.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 general score. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 construction is somewhat thinner and lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version, so it provides you a couple additional features.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a better display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1920 x 1200 resolution and a way higher pixels amount per display inch. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a much greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an additional graphics processor and a higher number of cores (and also faster). The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a bit better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, although it has a camera with a way worse 3 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a really longer battery life than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity against 4060mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is also a lot cheaper, making this tablet an obvious call.
