IPad mini 3 has an overall score of 77.5, which is way better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 score. IPad mini 3's body is incredibly newer, incredibly lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 10.1. IPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x OS, and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 OS. The iPad mini 3 counts with an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater count of pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048.
The Apple iPad mini 3 has a superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more internal memory. The Apple iPad mini 3 features a very superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Apple iPad mini 3 also has an additional graphics processing unit and a 64-bits processing unit.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has just a bit better battery duration than iPad mini 3, because it has a 7 percent more battery size. The Apple iPad mini 3 captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Apple iPad mini 3 also has faster video frame rates and a way more mega pixels camera.
The iPad mini 3 costs a bit more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
