LG G Pad 8.0 has a general score of 58.6, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's general score of 58.1. LG G Pad 8.0 is a noticeably lighter but somewhat thicker portable tablet than Galaxy Tab 10.1. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but LG G Pad 8.0 has a more recent 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, so it gives you a couple nice extra features.
LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch of display. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a GPU and a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a little bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a worse video resolution and a camera in the back with lot less MP. The LG G Pad 8.0 has a slightly bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a really longer battery life than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 6800mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the LG G Pad 8.0 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it an obvious call.
