LG G Pad X 8.0 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a global score of 63.5 against 58.1. These tablets include Android OS, but LG G Pad X 8.0 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version, offering a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance. LG G Pad X 8.0 counts with a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad X 8.0, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 4650mAh. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 takes a bit better pictures and videos than LG G Pad X 8.0, although it has a much less megapixels back facing camera and a lower video resolution.
