Comparison review

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, with a general score of 60.4 against 58.1. Even though Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition and Galaxy Tab 10.1 were only released 8 months apart, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition construction is incredibly lighter but also just a little thicker. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has the older 3.2 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has an additional graphics processor. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also counts with a little higher screen density.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has faster 30 frames per second video frame rates and a way better 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Galaxy Tab 10.1's one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a much longer battery performance than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
