Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, so it gives you a lot of extra features. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a incredibly newer tablet device, and it's also just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a way higher display pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560.
