The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has an overall score of 60.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 general score. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has 4.1.2 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus body is somewhat thicker but way lighter than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and both of them were only released 6 months apart.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both of them have 2 processing cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has a quite lower pixel density, it also counts with a better 800 x 1280px resolution and a much larger display.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a same resolution camera, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a lot better 1920x1080 video definition. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a 70% larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 10.1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1, giving up some features and specs.
