The Samsung Galaxy Tab is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, with a 58.6 score against 58.1. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 10.1 were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab construction is noticeably thicker but also much lighter.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab, because although it has a just a bit lower pixel quantity per screen inch, it also counts with a higher 800 x 1280 resolution and a really bigger screen.
Galaxy Tab features as much storage to store more games and applications as Galaxy Tab 10.1, they have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 6800mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a lot better 1920x1080 video quality.
The Galaxy Tab is not only the best devices in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other devices, which makes buying this tablet an easy decision.
