LG G Pad 8.0 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, getting a overall score of 58.6 against 56.7. LG G Pad 8.0's construction is somewhat thicker but extremely lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi. These tablets come with Android OS, but LG G Pad 8.0 has the newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi has Android 4.0.4 version, providing you some extra features and a performance increase.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, because it has 2 more CPU cores and an extra graphics processor. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a greater screen density.
