Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, having a general score of 68.3 against 56.7. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi has Android 4.0.4 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) construction is lighter but just a bit thicker than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a just a little worse pixels density, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi also counts with a bigger screen. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 400 GB.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster). Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a lot better 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and higher video frame rates.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi has a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is also cheaper than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi.
