Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, getting a global score of 72.2 against 57.1. Although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is notably heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, it's somewhat thinner and noticeably newer. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0 OS.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because it has a better count of pixels per display inch, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2160 and a bigger screen.
