Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a score of 67.8, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v's 57.1 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 design is extremely newer, a lot thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0 version, so it offers some additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because it has an additional graphics processing unit and a larger number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1v and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 count with similar screens, both have a better count of pixels per inch of display, a display with the same size and the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a superior memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1v and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 have very similar batteries duration, although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a 1% smaller battery size.
Galaxy Tab 10.1v counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a back camera with a way better 8 MP resolution and a lot better video definition.
