Galaxy Tab A (2016) is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1v, having a overall score of 60.4 against 57.1. Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a way newer portable tablet, and it is also noticeably lighter and noticeably thinner than Galaxy Tab 10.1v. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A (2016) has 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0, so it provides the user some nice extra features.
Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster). The Galaxy Tab 10.1v features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a way lower pixels amount per inch in the screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 10.1v also counts with a lot larger display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because although it has only 8 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 200 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 6860mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Galaxy Tab 10.1v takes slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a lot higher resolution back camera.
