Galaxy Tab A8 has a global score of 62.6, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1v's score of 57.1. Galaxy Tab A8 is a newer tablet, and it is also notably thinner and lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1v. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A8 has newer 11 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0, so it provides lots of additional features and some performance improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v features a much faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster). Galaxy Tab 10.1v features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a much lower pixels density.
