The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a score of 64.9, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v's 57.1 score. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a newer device, and it's also lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0.
Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because it has more cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1v has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a quite worse pixels quantity per inch of screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 10.1v also counts with a bigger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, although it has a way lower (HD) video quality and a lot less mega pixels back camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1v has a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 37% bigger battery capacity.
