Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is a lot better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, getting a 71.3 score against 57.1. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0 version, providing a lot of extra features and some performance improvements. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's body is a lot newer, a lot lighter and much thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixels quantity per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a much greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because it has a GPU and 2 more processing cores. Galaxy Tab 10.1v counts with a really longer battery duration than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because it has 6860mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
