The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an overall score of 60.1, which is a bit better than Motorola Xoom 2's 57.3 general score. Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) and the Motorola Xoom 2 were released only 4 months apart, Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s body is just a bit thicker but a bit lighter. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has newer 4.1 version while Motorola Xoom 2 has Android 3.2, so it provides the user some extra features and increased performance.

The Motorola Xoom 2 has a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both of them have 2 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Motorola Xoom 2 counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, a screen of the same size and the same pixel density.

The Motorola Xoom 2 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video definition, the Motorola Xoom 2 also has a way more megapixels back camera. Motorola Xoom 2 counts with a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.
