Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has an overall score of 65.4, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 60.1 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a newer tablet device, and it is also a little bit thinner and way lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, providing the user a couple additional features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a better number of pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 512 MB more RAM and 2 more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have a 3 MP resolution camera, the same 1280x720 video quality and the same video frame rate.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 75% greater battery size.

Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
