The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is much better than the Asus Fonepad 7, with a 65 score against 58.9. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) construction is a little bit thinner but notably heavier than the Asus Fonepad 7. Both devices in this comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an older 4.1 version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0.

Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a better pixels density. Asus Fonepad 7 has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory, a higher number of cores and a 64-bit processing unit.

Asus Fonepad 7 features a little bit more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a very superior battery duration than Asus Fonepad 7.

The Asus Fonepad 7 captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a lot more MP camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus Fonepad 7. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Asus Fonepad 7, letting go a couple specs and features.
