Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is slightly better than the Asus ZenPad Z8, getting a overall score of 65 against 61.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s construction is extremely older, a lot heavier and a lot thicker than the Asus ZenPad Z8. The Asus ZenPad Z8 features a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater display pixels density and a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048.

Asus ZenPad Z8 has a better memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenPad Z8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Asus ZenPad Z8 features a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM.

Asus ZenPad Z8 captures way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Asus ZenPad Z8 also has a much higher resolution camera. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a much longer battery lifetime than Asus ZenPad Z8, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
