The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a general score of 65, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's 60.4 overall score. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a newer tablet than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, although it is noticeably heavier and just a bit thicker. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a more recent 4.1 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2, giving a couple additional features and performance tweaks.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a much better battery duration than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
