Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), getting a general score of 69.2 against 65. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a thinner and much lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), even though both were released only a couple months apart. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) and the Galaxy Note 8.0 both count with really similar screens, because although the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a really smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a larger amount of RAM, a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a better 1064 megahertz graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much better battery duration than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.

Galaxy Note 8.0 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a back camera with a way higher 5 mega-pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a little more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
