The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 66.2, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s 65 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's construction is newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1, so it gives you some additional features.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with more pixels per display inch. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) feature incredibly similar CPUs, although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a greater amount of RAM memory, a higher number of cores (although they are slower) and a much better GPU working at 450 megahertz.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a little bit better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 57% more battery size.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 shoots better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). They have the same video quality, the same video frame rates and a camera in the back with a 3 mega pixels.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 not only is the best devices in our current comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper, making it an obvious call.
