Galaxy Tab S8 is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), getting a general score of 76.7 against 65. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S8 has newer 13 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1, so it offers some extra features. The Galaxy Tab S8 is a newer tablet, and it's also notably thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an extremely better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has 7 GB less RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a way lower quantity of pixels in each inch of display, a way lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display.
Galaxy Tab S8 captures greater photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels. Galaxy Tab S8 has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.

So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), resigning some specifications.
