Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an overall score of 61.4, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia W700's general score of 59.6. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) and the Acer Iconia W700 were only released 7 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is much lighter and way thinner. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) works with Android 4.1 OS, while Acer Iconia W700 works with Windows 8 Pro OS.
The Acer Iconia W700 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a little bigger screen and more pixels per inch in the display. The Acer Iconia W700 counts with a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Acer Iconia W700 also has a graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) takes much better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W700, although it has a way less mega pixels back facing camera and a much worse 1280x720 (HD) video definition. The Acer Iconia W700 has a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
