Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, with a 61.4 score against 60.4. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a thicker and incredibly heavier tablet than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. These tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the older 4.1 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a larger number of cores (and faster) and an extra graphics co-processor. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a better display pixel density.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a much more MP back camera. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a slightly better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a superior battery performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, letting go some specs and features.
