Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a global score of 61.4, which is just a bit better than LG G Pad II 8.0's 58.3 overall score. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the older 4.1 version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Even being the best portable tablet in this review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s construction is noticeably older, incredibly heavier and a bit thicker than LG G Pad II 8.0.

The LG G Pad II 8.0 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a slightly better screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has a bit lower pixels density, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280px resolution, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also counts with a larger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with just a bit better camera than LG G Pad II 8.0, although it has a much worse resolution back camera. The LG G Pad II 8.0 features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
