These tablets use Android OS, but the LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has newer 7.0 Nougat version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, so it provides the user lots of additional features and performance improvements. The LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also incredibly thinner and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

The LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a larger number of cores and 1 GB more RAM memory.
