Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), having a 68.5 score against 61.4. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with Android 4.1 operating system. Even though Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is noticeably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), it's a bit thinner and a lot newer.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2160, a bigger display and a higher pixels quantity in each inch of screen. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a much worse 3 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a way lower 1280x720 video definition.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a bit more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
