The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), having a overall score of 66.5 against 61.4. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, counting with a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's construction is newer and noticeably lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s, but it's a little thicker.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel density. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a larger amount of RAM and a graphics processor.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has 16 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. Both of them have a 3 mega pixels back camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is also by far the cheapest one.
