Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is just a bit better than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, with a score of 61.4 against 57.5. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is older and way heavier than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, it's construction is still a bit thinner. Both tablets in our current comparison have the same Android 4.1 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding operating system features.
Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have a 1 GB RAM and 2 processing cores. The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a better display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a really smaller display and a lot worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little greater number of pixels in each screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a slightly better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a way better battery duration than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 75% larger battery size.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a better camera than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both have a same resolution back-facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up some specs and features.
