The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a global score of 79, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s overall score of 61.4. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is just a little thicker than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), it's noticeably lighter and also incredibly newer. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a newer 10 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, so it provides some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 3 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater pixel amount per screen inch and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
