Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab E, having a 61.4 score against 60.7. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has older 4.1 version and Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4. Even being the best in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) construction is much older, heavier and thicker than Galaxy Tab E.

The Galaxy Tab E counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a larger number of cores and 512 MB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also counts with a little bit larger screen.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E features a quite bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same 8 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab E, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity against 5000mAh.

Galaxy Tab E captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab E also has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
