The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an overall score of 74.6, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 overall score. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's construction is newer, incredibly thinner and incredibly lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, giving you some additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a really superior performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has an extra GPU, a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a much higher screen density and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a much better (Full HD) video quality and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a 17 percent greater battery size.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 costs more money than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
