Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), having a 74.5 score against 61.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a much newer portable tablet, and it is also notably thinner and notably lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a quite better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 6 more cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity instead of 4900mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also a bargain compared to others.
