Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is just a bit better than Sony Tablet S, getting a 61.4 score against 57.5. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a more recent 4.1 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) design is newer, a bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Sony Tablet S.

The Sony Tablet S's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), they have a Dual-Core processing unit and 1 GB of RAM. The Sony Tablet S features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Sony Tablet S also counts with a just a little greater pixels density.

Sony Tablet S features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a really longer battery performance than Sony Tablet S, because it has a 40% more battery capacity.

The Sony Tablet S features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Sony Tablet S also has a way higher 5 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is also by far the cheapest one.
