Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a global score of 66, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s global score of 61.4. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 works with Windows 8 OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 OS. Despite being the best in this review, Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a extremely heavier and a little bit thicker tablet than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a brighter display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot better 1080 x 1920 resolution, a bit bigger display and more pixels per inch in the display. Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much longer battery performance than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots a bit better photos and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a lot worse resolution camera.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
