The Xperia Tablet Z is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), getting a general score of 67.2 against 61.4. Xperia Tablet Z's design is newer, lighter and a lot thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Xperia Tablet Z counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a way more MP camera and a much better (Full HD) video quality.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z costs a little more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
