Comparison review
The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a general score of 69.8, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 global score. Xperia Z2 Tablet is a newer tablet device, and it's also way thinner and extremely lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS, but Xperia Z2 Tablet has the newer 4.4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also has a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much better screen pixels density. The Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a much better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet features a much more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has more RAM memory, an additional graphics processing unit and a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with better battery duration than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
Xperia Z2 Tablet features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a much higher 8.1 MP resolution back facing camera and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is also a lot cheaper, which makes it a great choice.
