Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is way better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), with a general score of 74.7 against 61.4. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, so it provides some additional features. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a notably thinner and notably lighter tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).
The Xperia Z4 Tablet has an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a same size display, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a way higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a way greater screen density. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has an extremely better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has more cores, 2 GB more RAM, a 64-bit processing unit and a graphics processing unit.
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a camera with a lot better resolution. The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 24 GB more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with better battery duration than Xperia Z4 Tablet, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia Z4 Tablet, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), giving up a couple specs and features.
