The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a score of 62.7, which is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad M1's global score of 61.5. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the previous 4.0 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2. Despite being the best we are comparing here, we must note that it's also older, extremely heavier and thicker.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has just a bit more memory for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Huawei MediaPad M1 count with quite similar processing units, because although the Huawei MediaPad M1 has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have a 1 GB RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a very superior battery life than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 46 percent bigger battery size.
Huawei MediaPad M1 takes slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M1, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
