The Microsoft Surface 2 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, with a 63.4 score against 62.7. The Microsoft Surface 2 body is newer and a little thinner, but heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes with Android 4.0 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a bit bigger screen, a greater pixel density and a much better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage capacity.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, resigning some features and specs.
